5 minute crafts: Pipe Cleaner Letters

I saw this on Pinterest the other day & wanted to share it as it is so simple & looks great.
I’ve also been looking for ways to use up my (ever growing) collection of wool ‘ends’.

You will need:

Wool ‘ends’/scraps (from all your previous knitting adventures)
Pipe Cleaners

  • Start by attaching the pipe cleaners by twisting together & then shape into your word.
  • Wrap the pieces of wool around the pipe cleaner  loosely several times until the desired thickness is reached.
  • Re-shape the word if necessary once the pipe cleaners are covered. (The word or letter should hold the shape even more firmly now it is covered.)

I think this would look great made smaller & attached to cards.
Will definitely be giving this ago myself.
